After having three major spinal fusion operations, I was left with great pain along with difficulty walking. Finding any relief was difficult and frustrating. For years I had tried working out and rehabbing on my own only to find limited success and often eventually becoming injured in the process. I needed a professional that understood my limitations and who could develop a training program that targeted muscle groups that I knew little about.

Ann listened to my specific rehab needs and put together training sessions that were full of variety and fun to work through. The exercises were challenging and I often ended our sessions drained but elevated. She also worked out a individual program I can now utilize on my own. I now walk up to two miles and day and my balance is much improved. If I continue to improve I hope to golf again this spring something I thought was lost to me forever.

I have been working with Ann for many years now. I originally sought training due to severe lower back issues. My original goal was to strengthen my core, and combine the exercises and stretches from physical therapy into a managed workout. My secondary goal was, and continues to be weight management and general well being.

Ann is amazing. She obviously is very skilled in her chosen field and continues her education on a regular basis. She takes what she does very seriously and is always prepared and organized, but the thing that I love about her the most is her attitude. She is always positive and upbeat. She understands my limitations and works within those boundaries. She pushes me, but not beyond what is reasonable for me to achieve. I appreciate the fact that she helps me with my food choices and tracking of my exercise on a daily basis, so her influence extends beyond the workout time.

At this point my back is completely symptom free, and I am thrilled. I will continue to see Ann on a regular basis for years to come, and I have introduced my daughter to her as well as my fiancee.

When I joined a local gym I thought someone would show me how to use a few machines and then I’d just do the same circuit over and over again to improve my physical condition. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to work with Ann for a training session as an introduction to what I might do in an exercise program.

Ann showed me that there are several critical aspects to a properly executed exercise program. They include; proper form and positioning; a wide variety of movements; balance exercises; and nutritional considerations.
